Wonka’S Wonders

November 2023, Roald Dahl’s fantastic universe is back on screen for the release of Wonka. An magical exploration of the most famous chocolate makers youth. And Timothée Chalamet, one of the best actor of his generation is wearing the purple coat.

For Cartier, this is the perfect moment to imagine a unique high jewellery piece that will fit both Timothée and Willy Wonka’s creative world.

Across several months, we followed the process of creating an iconic and unique piece of jewellery. We documented this magical journey with videos and photos, from the first chat between Timothée Chalamet and the Maison, to the red carpet for the movie release, including all the research and development process with the jewel makers and artists of the Maison.
